A little about James Pastouna
As a Private Banker, James Pastouna heads a team of banking and credit professionals who work with select clients, their families and businesses when they migrate to or invest in Canada from throughout the world. With a consistent focus on client service, James and his team deliver bespoke and in depth financial and personal planning, cash management and credit solutions. James will also collaborate with specialists in tax, estate and business investment in the U.K., U.S., the Caribbean and Asia, as well as Canada to act as your trusted advisor and provide financial council for onshore and offshore wealth needs, as well as cross-border planning.
James is a former Officer in the British military who served in the Rifles Regiment after graduating from the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst. In the latter part of his career, he was an assistant to a senior General and worked with the Defense Cultural Specialist Unit in Saudi Arabia and as the Deputy Defense Attaché in Kuwait. His career of international work and travel, as well as having U.S., British and Canadian citizenships has ensured that James is well versed in the lifestyle and needs of the clients he serves.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Aberdeen, James then completed a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford before moving to private banking for international clients.
James has completed his Personal Financial Planner designation. When combined with his knowledge of asset protection laws and estate and entity structure considerations, he is ideally positioned to provide the highest level of service and professional advice to business investors, Canadian expatriates, as well as ultra-high-net-worth clients and their families.
James is an active member of his community, and has volunteered his time to the Invictus Games, as well as holding positions in local sports teams.
